Dr. Nadja Krawtchenko is a specialist in internal medicine with many years of clinical experience and a special focus on preventive and integrative medicine.
After completing her medical studies in Minsk (Belarus), Berlin (Germany), and Cape Town (South Africa), she worked and earned her doctorate at Charité University Hospital in Berlin. In 2013, she moved to Zurich, where she completed her residency in internal medicine at Zurich University Hospital and obtained her board certification in 2017. She then continued working there as a senior physician in one of the busiest emergency departments in Switzerland, gaining extensive experience in the treatment and team leadership of acute medical situations.
Dr. Krawtchenko has been working as a general practitioner in outpatient care since 2018. Her approach combines evidence-based medicine with a holistic view of the individual health situation of her patients.
Over the years, she has expanded her clinical work to include a focus on nutritional medicine and functional diagnostics. She is particularly interested in gut health, metabolic balance, and hormonal changes during perimenopause and menopause. Dr. Krawtchenko regularly pursues continuing education in phytotherapy and bioidentical hormone therapy (BHRT) to provide her patients with comprehensive advice and treatment based on current scientific findings.
Due to her many years of experience in the Swiss healthcare system, she also has a broad network of specialists nationwide. This close interdisciplinary collaboration enables her to involve patients in targeted, advanced expertise when needed and to expand the holistic spectrum of their medical care.
